Plans for the redevelopment of The Point in Central Milton Keynes have been unveiled today and we have the very first look at what is planned for the infamous site.

Initial plans for the site to be developed into the UK’s largest Primark retail shop have been snubbed due to the successful MK1 store in Bletchley. The go ahead has been given and works will be starting in the next few weeks for the creation of Milton Keynes’ first indoor cattle market. Below is the artists impression of the site.

In a nod to the local love of all things cow related, it will now become a national hub for the trading of livestock. The Milton Keynes Cattle Market.

At the front of the building will be the largest concrete cow that Milton Keynes has ever seen, proudly looking towards The Centre:MK. Multiple livestock loading areas will be at the rear of the building, backing onto Avebury Boulevard.

With its perfect position in the heart of Milton Keynes and with great links to the motorways. This is set to be a highly successful and extremely busy trade site, popular with local farmers, cow enthusiasts and ensured to excite visitors to our beloved home town.

What are your views on these plans?
