12 year old to cut hair off for Charity

This is definitely more than just giving a card to show someone you love them.

On Valentine’s Day 12 year old Bella from Stony Stratford is giving up her hair to help fight Cystic Fibrosis, a condition that affects her best friend. She said “I chose Valentine’s Day for my head shave because I love my friend and I love the work the Cystic Fibrosis Trust does supporting people with CF.”

So far, Bella has raised £660 towards her £1,000 target for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust on her fundraising website.

Hairdresser Emma Hopkins will be removing Bella’s hair. If raising money for one charity wasn’t enough, Bella’s 18 inches of hair will also be donated to The Little Princess Trust, a charity who make wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer treatment.

If you want to make a donation she has a page set up on Virgin Money Giving http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/bellashave

Now that is spreading love on Valentine’s Day! Please do share and let’s see if we can help this local girl with a big heart reach her target.
