This flower print dress was one of those pieces of clothing that I was umming and ahhing over whilst looking at it on the hanger in the shop. Then after trying it on in the changing rooms and seeing just how flattering and cute it looked on it was decided, I had to have it.
It’s the base fabric colour being black is what makes it so easy to wear and why it’s so flattering but the cute little flowers and the ladder hole details on the chest and arms also give it a feminine touch that is often lacking in my wardrobe.
I was worried those ladder holes on the chest were going to make me feel exposed but they are perfectly placed so there’s no embarrassing moments.
The fabric has enough weight in it that it hangs lovely and the A-Line hem makes you feel like you want to twirl whilst wearing it. So girlie!
The length comes to just above the knee on my 5’3 frame.
I think this dress will be a key piece in my Spring Summer wardrobe. It can be dressed up with jackets for evening or day wear (I’m thinking denim jackets with my converse for the day and heels and a smarter blazer jacket for evening) but also when the weather really heats up I can wear it alone with just a pair of sandals and shades! So many possibilities.
Dress is £24.99 and from New Look @ MK1 Shopping Milton Keynes
Wow, this dress is beautiful! And it’s perfect for spring with floral. The joy of dressing is an art! I must take it!
Thank you. I think so too!
