I ❤️ my PRIMARK moochings at MK1.
I love the free parking (ESPESH if I can slip into an empty mother and parent bay), I love the stores that are there; Primark, Outfit (Topshop!), H&M, River Island, Next, New Look, JD Sports and M&S (snack time sushi innit).
And it’s really easy to get to over there (I live in MK15 and it takes hardly any time) and with PRIMARK open late until 9pm in the week, it’s proper perfect for a solo visit when the babies are asleep and Mr LouBou can hold the fort.
I recently visited Primark there to update my wardrobe for SS19 (spring summer 2019 baby!) and here’s what I came home with…
THE FEMININE MIDI DRESS
Can be worn open as a jacket, as a dress with boots, with trainers, with a top underneath, with denim, leather, you name it, you can do it to a dress like this.
THE ANIMAL PRINT RAWR
With a Kat Slater inside most of us, who is to deny the animal print when its in store. It’s still a current trend and I’m going to grab it whilst I can.
THE ULTIMATE SUMMERY TOP
Boho chic, the most beautiful detail on the high neck. This top is my ultimate spring summer accessory. Only £12.00 for this much style? Beaut, Primark.
THE FLUORESCENT NEON STUFF
Wearing neon isn’t an easy job but when it’s put on a denim skirt with a simple cut like this, it wears like a dream. Primark has this skirt in various neon shades and you can wear them with vests, baggy tees, shirts, dressed up for nightwear or dressed down for summer days.
THE PIECE THAT REMINDS ME OF THE SUNSHINE
Everyone needs that piece in their wardrobe that makes their skin glow with the sunshine rather than scares in the dark. This is mine.
THE DENIM SKIRT THAT IS GOING TO GET WORN EVERYDAY
It’s cute. A great quality denim. Very flattering on with the tie belt that pulls me in right at the perfect place. This is a piece I am going to love wearing when I’m on the go.
THE PINAFORE OR IS IT A DUNGAREE DRESS THAT MAKES ME NOSTAGLIC
Who knows what you call this? A pinafore? A dungaree dress? A childhood classic? Whatever you do, however, it’s super cute on and oozes that style without effort look.
FASHION OR NOT? COMFY, COMFY, COMFY, YES
Cycling shorts were huge in the 90s when I was a kid. Their revival has bought back the reasons why I lived in them. They are so comfy. They look great with a super oversized baggy tee or hoodie and I quite frankly will not apologise for them. This pair is only £2 and they come in animal print, diff colours and all sorts of fabric finishes (price may change).
EASY ACCESSORIES FOR £10 FOR BOTH
A bag is an easy way to update your wardrobe looks and help revive existing pieces in your home.
The sunglasses are only £2 and as they have a short lifespan in a household with young children, they are fashionable without making me cry when they get snapped at the arms (yes, squish I’m looking at you).
I’ve been having great fun putting them together in outfits and here’s a few ways I will be wearing them this spring-
That’s it from me from Primark @ MK1 Shopping Park for now.
Now it’s all eyes forward for April and…
